Abstract

Das Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung (BIBB) hat auf der Grundlage der langfristigen BIBB-IAB-Qualifikations- und Berufsfeldprojektionen vier Szenarien für einen zukünftigen Arbeitsmarkt untersucht: 1) Steigende Nachfrage nach höheren Qualifikationen; 2) Steigerung des Exports; 3) Realisierung bildungspolitischer Zielsetzungen; 4) ausgeglichener Wanderungssaldo. Der Bericht zeigt, dass der Fachkräftemarkt von morgen mit der Umsetzung bildungspolitischer Ziele positiv gestaltet werden kann. Durch eine Verringerung der Zahl der Schulabgänger ohne Abschluss in Verbindung mit einer Steigerung der Erfolgsquoten im beruflichen und hochschulischen Bildungsbereich kann die Quote der Arbeitskräfte ohne Berufsausbildung bis zum Jahr 2030 um 16 Prozent reduziert werden. Der voraussichtliche Fachkräftemangel im mittleren Qualifikationsbereich kann hierdurch abgemildert werden. (Autorenreferat; BIBB-Doku)
