Abstract

Das vorliegende FIW-Jahresgutachten widmet sich der aktuellen Entwicklung der österreichischen Außenwirtschaft. Zunächst werden in Kapitel 2 die veränderten internationalen Rahmenbedingungen dargestellt und diskutiert. Hierbei zeigt sich die deutliche globale Konjunkturabschwächung infolge des russischen Angriffskriegs gegen die Ukraine. Das globale Wirtschaftswachstum betrug 2022 moderate 3,4%. Hohe Rohstoff- und Energiepreise belasten die Produktion, die notwendigen geldpolitischen Straffungsmaßnahmen verschlechtern das Investitionsklima und dämpfen die globalen ausländischen Direktinvestitionsaktivitäten. Die Prognose für die Jahre 2023 und 2024 spiegelt den globalen Konjunkturabschwung, der sich in den letzten Monaten bereits abgezeichnet und 2023 vorsetzen dürfte, wider. Laut Prognose wachsen die Exporte von Waren und Dienstleistungen real im Jahr 2023 um lediglich 0,3%.
