Abstract

Dies ist die Zusammenfassung von drei unabhängigen Studien, die sich aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven mit der sechsten Donauquerung im Osten von Wien befassen – aus Sicht der regionalwirtschaftlichen Entwicklung, der Erreichbarkeit sowie Transport und Logistik. Trotz unterschiedlicher Zugänge unterstreichen die Studienergebnisse die potentielle positive Wirkung einer zusätzlichen Donauquerung, betonen aber auch die Bedeutung einer koordinierten Planung, um dieses Potential auch zu heben – die inter-regionale Abstimmung zwischen Wien und Niederösterreich, aber auch die inter-modale Abstimmung zwischen öffentlichem Verkehrsangebot und höherrangigem Straßensystem.
