Abstract

Das Wachstum der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Produktivität schwächte sich in den letzten Jahren in vielen Industrieländern ab. Diese Entwicklung liegt allerdings nicht an einer Verlangsamung der Dynamik an der weltweiten technologischen Frontier, sondern vielmehr an der Abschwächung der Produktivitätszuwächse abseits der Frontier. Die Studie beschreibt die Mechanismen hinter dieser ungleichen Produktivitätsentwicklung und entwickelt einen Analyserahmen, in dem Politikinstrumente in ihrer Wirkung auf Wachstum und Inklusion beurteilt werden können. Der Schwerpunkt der Untersuchung liegt dabei auf den Politikfeldern Wettbewerbs- und Regulierungspolitik, öffentliche Investitionen und Investitionsförderung sowie Innovationspolitik.
