Baubewilligungen für neue Wohneinheiten in Österreich. Prognose Sommer 2019 und regionale Entwicklung 2013/2018

Abstract

Der außergewöhnlich starke Anstieg der Zahl der Baubewilligungen ging 2018 zu Ende, das Vorjahresniveau wurde um über 11.000 Einheiten verfehlt (–16,9%). Für die kommenden Jahre ergibt die Prognose des WIFO einen weiteren Rückgang, der allerdings geringer ausfallen wird. 2019 dürften rund 54.100 Einheiten bewilligt werden (–700), 2020 rund 51.600 (–2.500). Im zuletzt anhaltend expansiven Bereich der Ein- und Zweifamilienhäuser wird die Zahl der Bewilligungen 2019 um 500 Einheiten auf 17.900 sinken und 2020 stagnieren. Die Prognose für den Mehrgeschoßbau ergibt für 2019 eine geringfügige Abnahme auf 36.200 Einheiten (–200 Einheiten), für 2020 jedoch einen stärkeren Rückgang auf 33.800 Einheiten (–2.500).
