Abstract

Tourismus-Satellitenkonten (TSA) dienen der Erfassung und Analyse des Tourismus als ökonomisches Phänomen im Zusammenhang mit der Volkswirtschaftlichen Gesamtrechnung (VGR) und anderen Wirtschaftsstatistiken. Die VGR bildet dazu den Rahmen und den Integrationsraster. Entsprechend dem TSA-Konzept erfolgt eine Aufgliederung in "tourismusspezifische", "tourismusverwandte" und "nicht-tourismusspezifische" Produktion. 2013 trug die gesamte Tourismuswirtschaft in Österreich 7,9% zum BIP bei (Basis ESVG 2010), 2014 dürfte die Kennzahl 7,7% lauten, 2015 7,8%. Die direkten und indirekten Beschäftigungseffekte des Tourismus erreichten 2013 9,4% der Gesamtbeschäftigung (Erwerbstätige auf Basis von Vollzeitäquivalenten).
