Eine Typologie Arbeitsloser nach Dauer und Häufigkeit ihrer Arbeitslosigkeit 2010/2013

Abstract

Die Arbeitslosigkeit ist stark segmentiert, die einzelnen Arbeitslosen weisen sehr unterschiedliche Erwerbssituationen und Problemlagen auf. Zum Teil sind sie nur kurz und vorübergehend von Arbeitslosigkeit betroffen, während andere lange und häufig arbeitslos sind. Zudem sind für den österreichischen Arbeitsmarkt häufige Wechsel zwischen Beschäftigung und kurzzeitiger Arbeitslosigkeit kennzeichnend, darunter die Rückkehr zum vorhergehenden Arbeitgeber. Eine neu entwickelte Typologie der Arbeitslosen für die Daten 2010/2013 macht es möglich, Form und Ausmaß der Betroffenheit von Arbeitslosigkeit zu unterscheiden und zu quantifizieren. Die längerfristige und wiederkehrende Arbeitslosigkeit hat demnach in den Jahren seit der Finanzmarktkrise deutlich zugenommen.
