Aufschwung legt Pause ein. Gemeinschaftsdiagnose Herbst 2007

Abstract

Die deutsche Wirtschaft wird heuer gemäß den Erwartungen der in der Projektgruppe Gemeinschaftsdiagnose zusammenarbeitenden führenden Konjunkturforschungsinstitute real um 2,6% wachsen. Während Export und Ausrüstungsinvestitionen kräftig zunehmen, bremst die Stagnation der Konsumnachfrage der privaten Haushalte die Expansion. Der Konjunkturaufschwung trägt zu einem merklichen Rückgang der Arbeitslosigkeit und zu einem starken Anstieg der Steuereinnahmen bei, die öffentlichen Haushalte weisen deshalb einen Überschuss aus. Im Jahr 2008 dürfte sich das Wirtschaftswachstum auf real +2,2% abschwächen. Die Verlangsamung der Expansion der Weltwirtschaft und die Aufwertung des Euro dämpfen den Exportanstieg. Die Konsumnachfrage könnte sich etwas erholen, auch wenn ein Konsumboom angesichts des mäßigen Anstiegs der Einkommen wenig wahrscheinlich ist.
