Prognose für 2015 bis 2016: Unsicherheit bremst Konjunktur

Abstract

Nach dem geringen Wachstum im Jahr 2014 dürfte die österreichische Wirtschaft auch Anfang 2015 nur sehr verhalten expandieren. Die Vorlaufindikatoren geben weiterhin keine nennenswerten Hinweise auf eine Konjunkturbelebung. In der ersten Jahreshälfte sind somit die Voraussetzungen für eine Erholung kaum gegeben. Erst im Jahr 2016 könnte eine etwas günstigere Entwicklung in Gang kommen. Neben dem Anziehen der Weltkonjunktur sollten sowohl die Euro-Schwäche als auch die niedrigen Rohstoffpreise der heimischen Wirtschaft wieder etwas Schwung verleihen. Ausgehend von einem Wachstum von 0,3% im Jahr 2014 dürfte das BIP 2015 in Österreich um 0,5% und 2016 um 1,3% zunehmen.
