Abstract

El contenido de este libro ayudará al lector a conocer y diferenciar las distintas teorías macro económicas, desde los clásicos, neoclásicos y keynesianos hasta los de reciente desarrollo. Comienza con la historia y los aspectos básicos de la macroeconomía y se extiende detalladamente en los diversos enfoques necesarios para una mejor claridad y análisis del pensamiento macroeconómico. Se explican conceptos tales como la medición del PBI, los criterios de análisis según la macroeconomía keynesiana, las funciones y teorías del dinero y la oferta monetaria, las teorías del tipo de cambio, la dinámica y el diseño de la política económica, y mucho más. Cada punto se desarrolla con su respectiva herramienta técnico-matemática, ya sean fórmulas o gráficos, esenciales para comprender cada modelo macroeconómico. El libro está dirigido a estudiantes y profesionales de economía, negocios internacionales, finanzas, contabilidad, administración y afines; así como al público en general interesado en el conocimiento global de las teorías y perspectivas macroeconómicas.
