Abstract

Las ponencias sobre el tema que se publican en este libro atienden diferentes aristas del problema de la diversidad cultural y el desarrollo rural en el Perú actual. Paredes discute sobre el discurso indígena y el conflicto minero en el Perú. Durand hace un estudio de caso sobre revaloración étnica y representación política, para los casos del Movimiento Regional Independencia, Trabajo e Integración y el Movimiento Independiente de Campesinos y Profesionales de Lircay en Huancavelica. Jaramillo, por su parte, presenta una discusión sobre gobiernos locales, instituciones para la acción colectiva y desempeño de los servicios agrícolas públicos en el Perú. Finalmente, Córdova, utilizando el caso del funcionamiento de un sistema de crédito en Cajamarca, reflexiona sobre la interculturalidad económica y la interculturalidad política en el desarrollo rural.
