Abstract

Mercados financieros. Instrumentos e instituciones es un libro en el que el lector encontrará una visión completa y sistemática sobre el funcionamiento de los mercados del dinero y de capitales, tanto en lo teórico como en lo práctico, con aplicaciones al caso peruano. Se pone especial énfasis en la determinación de las tasas de interés y del tipo de cambio, así como en el funcionamiento del mercado bancario y los mercados de bonos, acciones e instrumentos derivados. Este libro está dirigido a los estudiantes de finanzas que quieran entender cómo funciona el sistema financiero y cómo operan las empresas que emiten instrumentos de deuda para intermediar fondos. Los estudiantes de Teoría Monetaria encontrarán en este libro un buen complemento del texto Teoría y política monetaria del mismo autor, que presenta algunos temas comunes pero se centra más en los efectos del dinero sobre la economía, es decir, los problemas de la transmisión monetaria, la inflación y la dinámica del tipo de cambio.
