Bonanza macroeconómica y malestar microeconómico

Abstract

El texto intenta explicar la paradoja que ha surgido entre el crecimiento económico relativamente satisfactorio del país y el creciente malestar de la población. Para ello, no solo se recurre a hipótesis basadas en las variables macro y mesoeconómicas tradicionales, así como las de corte sociopolítico, sino que fundamentalmente se recogen las evidencias derivadas de encuestas de opinión sobre la satisfacción subjetiva de la gente. Con ello se ensaya una aproximación empírica y conceptual al complejo tema del bienestar subjetivo de las personas y la evolución macroeconómica en el mediano plazo, incorporando hipótesis presentadas en la literatura especializada de otros países.
