Los desafíos de la lucha contra la pobreza extrema en el Perú

Abstract

Durante la década de los noventa se contó con los recursos para luchar contra la pobreza extrema; sin embargo, la inequidad ha aumentado y los pobres extremos han sido los menos favorecidos por los programas sociales. Los autores proponen un menú de opciones para el gobierno que busque la eficiencia y la eficacia de la inversión social en favor de los pobres extremos, donde la equidad y la transparencia primen por encima de los intereses de grupos.
