Abstract

The present survey aims at an analysis of the Romanian state relations with Israel and the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) conducted during 1948-2000. The study deals with the origin of the relations, developments and areas where cooperation between Romania and the Romanian-Israeli and Palestinian grew, the attitude of the United States, Russia and member countries of the Soviet bloc, reflecting these events in the Romanian media and the foreign and attitude Romanian public opinion.
