Abstract

This paper is an approach to capturing the specificity of mechanisms for resolving economic disputes between states through international organizations designed to facilitate economic cooperation between them. International organizations are institutionalized forms of economic cooperation between states. Currently, in the conditions of the economic crisis generated by the COVID 19 pandemic, we believe that these mechanisms within the organizations but also of the bilateral treaties in the field will be more and more requested, their importance increasing exponentially. Against this background, some pre-existing differences (such as that between the US and China) are likely to worsen, with high-level political statements already being held about China’s accountability for the economic damage of the health crisis.
