Ingresos municipales en Centroamérica: Situación actual y perspectivas de modernización

Abstract

En esta presentación se hacen algunas observaciones sobre las principales características de los ingresos municipales en Centroamérica, y se discuten los desafíos que habría que encarar para su modernización. Cada uno de los temas tratados ha sido encarado tomando en cuenta los resultados de los diagnósticos rápidos por país que el Banco encargó para seis países de la región (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua y Panamá) por lo que en el texto se ha prescindido de los detalles específicos de cada estudio.
