Abstract

En este libro se presenta el tomo II "Reflexiones y dinámicas en los lugares turísticos: dilemas éticos, imaginarios sociales y prácticas culturales", cuyo objetivo es dar a conocer a la comunidad académica y científica nueve escritos de investigación relacionados con el eje: "Sociedad, Cultura y Turismo", a partir de múltiples casos de estudio en México, Uruguay, Colombia y Ecuador, así como algunos abordajes teóricos. El debate sobre el complejo entramado de las relaciones que se tejen entre el turismo, como fenómeno de la modernidad, la cultura y el lugar, da como resultado diversos análisis sobre las prácticas sociales en el territorio, la construcción de imaginarios y los dilemas éticos derivados de la experiencia y el encuentro entre turistas y residentes. Este tomo constituye una invitación al análisis desde diferentes perspectivas teóricas, conceptuales y metodológicas, las cuales nos revelan la insondable riqueza que puede alcanzar la reflexión del turismo desde una mirada interdisciplinaria, develando las dinámicas y tensiones que se presentan en los territorios de acogida, en la experiencia turística y entre los turistas y residentes.
