Abstract

El profesor Scheel, a partir de la definición de una estructura del estado de resultados, plantea las metodologías para los análisis operacionales que conducen al control de costos y gastos y a la evaluación de la utilidad. Adicionalmente, propone un sistema de proyección de la operación con base en tendencias y pronósticos para facilitar la dirección de un hotel. Obra de gran utilidad para los funcionarios de la dirección hotelera: gerente general, gerente de operaciones, gerente financiero, contador y contralor, entre otros.
