Abstract

Al seguir el camino trazado por los teóricos constructivistas de relaciones internacionales y los miembros de la escuela inglesa, los autores de este libro proponen analizar los conjuntos regionales Europa, África, América del Sur y América del Norte a partir de los conceptos de complejo regional de seguridad y comunidad de seguridad. A pesar de ser fruto de enfoques epistemológicos diferentes, aquí se reúnen los dos conceptos para permitirles a los investigadores explicar la evolución histórica y el futuro de las relaciones entre los Estados de una misma región. Académicos de relaciones internacionales y estudiantes de ciencia política en general encontrarán en estas líneas una herramienta analítica innovadora. Por su parte, los tomadores de decisiones podrán utilizar este libro para entender mejor las dinámicas que unen o separan Estados de una misma región. “Este libro constituye un aporte muy pertinente e interesante desde la academia colombiana sobre los conceptos de Complejo Regional de Seguridad y de Comunidad de Seguridad.” Gabriel A.
