Abstract

El libro que el lector tiene en sus manos resulta de gran importancia para la comunidad científica y académica, ya que contienen un estudio de derecho internacional público en el que se constata la intervención entre la jurisprudencia de los tribunales regionales internacionales y la evolución de los principios del Derecho Administrativo.En efecto, la labor adelantada por el Tribunal Europeo de Derechos Humanos en la determinación del alcance y contenido del derecho a la tutela judicial efectiva no sólo constituye una garantía para la aplicación de los derechos reconocidos en la Convención Europea de Derechos Humanos, sino que además hace posible la armonización de unos principios comunes a todos los Estados en lo referente a la manera como en el control de las administraciones públicas se deben respetar instituciones tales como: el plazo razonable, la garantía de imparcialidad, el concepto mismo de instancia judicial, entre otros.
