    Abstract

    Este libro presenta una visión de conjunto del desarrollo histórico de la Facultad de Derecho en sus cuarenta años de existencia, resaltando las transformaciones y continuidades en materia social de sus actividades en el contexto colombiano. Tomando como punto de partid el proyecto educativo que culminó en la fundación de La Facultad en 1968, el texto se detiene en los programas curriculares ofrecidos por esta unidad académica a lo largo de las últimas cuatro décadas y en los cambios en la metodología de la enseñanza —de la Cátedra Activa al Aprendizaje Basado en Problemas— y de formación de profesores.Los autores subrayan igualmente la importancia de docentes y estudiantes en la configuración histórica de la Facultad a través de su participación en espacios institucionales y académicos. A todos estos temas se suman consideraciones relevantes sobre el Consultorio Jurídico, el Centro de Investigaciones Sociojurídicas (Cijus) y el programa Constitución y Democracia dentro de las diferentes facetas queha presentado la contribución del trabajo de la Facultad a la solución de problemas sociales y jurídicos.
