Abstract

En este libro se encuentran una serie de reflexiones sobre el pasado, presente y futuro del derecho electoral, muchas de ellas basadas en experiencias personal, que el autor espera se conviertan en punto de partida de una pronta reforma electoral integral, en aras de fortalecer la democracia.Se trata, de todas maneras, de un abrebocas al tema, de una introducción que señala los antecedentes, la realidad actual de lo electoral en el país, con sus fortaleces y debilidades, y unas ideas que se lanzan para trabajar en el mejoramiento de la estructura democrática, particularmente en uno de los mecanismos más importantes, como es el sistema de elección de las autoridades públicas que rigen y regirán los futuros de la Nación.
