Abstract

Con un enfoque democrático,transformador y emancipador del proceso de inclusión de los derechos de losgrupos indígenas -tradicionalmente discriminados o invisibilizados durante laModernidad-, este libro de Soraya Pérez Portilla se centra en el calor de laigualdad con un enfoque democrático. El texto orienta al lector paracomprender que los momentos constituyentes estudiados en sus páginas de laRepública Bolivariana de Venezuela en 1999, de la República de Ecuador en 2008y de Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia en 2009, momentos legislativos refundadoscomo plurinacionales e interculturales con una participación vigorosa de lascomunidades ancestrales permitieron abrir espacios para que conceptos comopluriétnico y plurilingüismo pasara a ser principios fundamentales de la CartaPolítica de Colombia en 1991, permitiendo al mismo tiempo inaugurar escenariospara la representación indígena y de las comunidades ancestrales. Este libronos dice del reconocimiento de la Otredad como principio para el diálogo quenos permitirá caminar juntos en la construcción de sociedades, justas yesenciales.
