Abstract

Esta publicación es el primer volumen de una serie de estudios que bajo el título de Instituciones procesales penales consensuales agrupan, en una relación de género a especie, las diferentes manifestaciones modernas de la compositio. De esta colección harán parte otros estudios sobre aspectos tales como principio de oportunidad, estipulaciones probatorias, conciliación, etc. Este texto se ocupa de la figura de los acuerdos, instrumento procesal que ha sido concebido para otorgar una solución oportuna al conflicto penal, pues busca no solo ahorrar esfuerzos estatales sino también que se humanice la pena y se acoplen en dicha solución los intereses de la víctima, sin perder de vista la necesidad de evitar cuestionamientos innecesarios a la administración de justicia en la celebración de los acuerdos.
