Abstract

Lecciones de derecho penal. Parte especial está formado por una pluralidad de estudios elaborados por profesores del Departamento de Derecho Penal y Criminología de la Universidad Externado de Colombia que con total autonomía conceptual acometen el análisis sintético de los temas fundamentales de dicha área del conocimiento. Esta obra fue promovida por el Departamento de Derecho Penal y Criminología de la Universidad Externado de Colombia y pretende, primordialmente, brindar a nuestros lectores, en especial a los estudiantes de la Facultad de Derecho de esta alma máter, un manual de consulta básica que abarca el examen de la mayoría de los tipos penales consagrados en la parte especial de la ley penal colombiana, no solo desde el punto de vista de su estructura y contenido, sino también -y en particular-con énfasis en los aspectos más polémicos de cada uno de ellos, con sustento en desarrollos doctrinales, jurisprudenciales y legales que se han dado en esta materia. En consecuencia, esta obra constituye un elemento de suma utilidad para el desempeño de estudiantes, funcionarios judiciales, abogados, litigantes y, en general, los estudiosos del tema.
