    Abstract

    En la actualidad, son varios los medios de comunicación en América Latina —tanto en prensa como en televisión y radio— que le están apostando al periodismo de investigación, que invierten tiempo y su mejor personal en reportajes de esta especialidad. Varios de ellos participaron de este seminario “La vigilancia del poder, autores y editores del periodismo de investigación en América Latina” y lo que dijeron, sus ideas, dudas y apuestas quedó consignado en esta relatoría como memoria de una tradición periodística que no ha dejado de ganar espacio, respeto y éxito, pese a la adversidad. Este libro reúne las intervenciones de los periodistas-escritores de América Latina que participaron en el encuentro y que expresan las opiniones y experiencias de sus investigaciones publicadas en diferentes editoriales de la región sobre el tema del poder y de la vigilancia que sobre él ejerce periodismo.
