Abstract

Este estudo teve como objetivo sistematizar e apresentar dados sobre a criação e o fechamento das organizações da sociedade civil (OSCs) brasileiras no período 1901-2020, a partir da base de Cadastro Nacional de Pessoas Jurídicas (CNPJ) disponibilizada pela Secretaria da Receita Federal do Brasil (SRFB). Os resultados expostos constituem um levantamento inédito englobando o conjunto de mais de 1 milhão de organizações criadas nos últimos 120 anos no país e distribuídas por todo o território nacional.
