Abstract

Este documento interinstitucional se concibe como un aporte del sistema de las Naciones Unidas a las reflexiones sobre la agenda para el desarrollo sostenible desde nuestras comunes preocupaciones. La comunidad internacional está frente a la cuenta regresiva para cumplir con los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio (ODM) en el plazo acordado, pero a la vez cuenta con una oportunidad única para plantear un nuevo paradigma del desarrollo que rija el planeta después de 2015 a partir de los compromisos de Río+20, plasmados en el documento El futuro que queremos. Este texto pretende estimular e informar los debates sobre la nueva agenda para el desarrollo post-2015, con un enfoque del desarrollo sostenible, igualdad y cambio estructural, y apoyarlas discusiones de la región y la comunidad global sobre los pasos necesarios para lograr un nuevo paradigma de cambio. Este informe fue elaborado por los equipos técnicos de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL) y del Grupo de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo - América Latina y el Caribe (UNDG LAC), de acuerdo con la decisión del Mecanismo de Coordinación Regional adoptada en la reunión celebrada el 24 de enero de 2013 en Santiago. Se contó además con la estrecha colaboración de las oficinas regionales de los siguientes organismos, fondos y programas de las Naciones Unidas.
