Abstract

En este libro se sistematizan las lecciones extraídas del proyecto Experiencias en innovación social en América Latina y el Caribe, iniciativa de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL);, que se llevó a cabo con el apoyo de la Fundación W.K. Kellogg. La información que en esta publicación se presenta surge de las entrevistas y talleres realizados con los participantes y representantes de los proyectos finalistas de los primeros tres ciclos del concurso (2005, 2006 y 2007);. El propósito fundamental del proyecto ha sido identificar prácticas innovadoras en el campo social que sirvan de inspiración para los responsables del diseño y la gestión de las políticas públicas. Por lo tanto en este libro se recogen los aprendizajes destacados por los proyectos y las enseñanzas extraídas por los autores, prestándose especial atención a los factores que han contribuido al éxito y que facilitan su réplica creativa.
