Abstract

La cultura contribuye en todo el espectro de las políticas públicas, y el reconocimiento de este aporte la convierte en un poderoso facilitador para dar forma a las diversas vías para lograr el desarrollo sostenible. En ese sentido, juega un rol determinante en el logro de los 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) consagrados en la Agenda 2030. El objetivo del presente documento, elaborado de manera conjunta por la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL) y la Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura (OEI), es servir como uno de los puntos de referencia de información estadística comparativa en la región iberoamericana sobre la gran tarea que significará en los próximos años la recuperación de la actividad cultural a niveles previos a la pandemia.
