Abstract

La Encuesta sobre Gestión de Residuos Sólidos Domiciliarios 2019 se llevó a cabo mediante la alianza entre el CEMPRE Chile, el Ministerio del Medio Ambiente de Chile y la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL), y contó con la colaboración de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, lo que amplió y profundizó las iniciativas previas. Esta nueva encuesta permite conocer el marco normativo, la manera en que se está llevando a cabo la gestión en la materia, y visibilizar, entre otras cosas, el grado de inclusión de los recicladores de base en esa gestión a nivel municipal. En este informe se presenta en forma visual y resumida la información proporcionada por 255 municipios de un total de 345 en el país.
