Abstract

Además de examinar la evolución mundial de los flujos de inversión extranjera directa, la presente edición de La Inversión Extranjera Directa en América Latina y el Caribe detalla los montos recibidos por los países latinoamericanos y caribeños en 2013 y hace una proyección regional para 2014. Incluye un análisis sobre los patrones de origen y destino de las inversiones. Asimismo, analiza en profundidad los efectos de la inversión extranjera directa sobre el empleo en América Latina y el Caribe y la situación de las empresas transnacionales latinoamericanas, conocidas como translatinas.
