Abstract

The important development that the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model is having in recent years in different Latin American countries has been accompanied by the need to generate knowledge in this matter so that governments, both national and sub-national, that want to use this model can benefit from the previous experience of other countries. This new book is the third in a series of publications that CAF has promoted with the aim of generating knowledge in the region regarding PPPs. In its content, it will address three key PPP challenges in the region: new infrastructures that are adopting this model in the field of telecommunications and water, the need for transformation of institutional governance, and the application of the APP model in cities.
