Die Entwicklung von Börsenkursen im zeitlichen Umfeld von Kapitalerhöhungen

Abstract

Die Autorin untersucht die Auswirkungen von Bezugsrechtsemissionen auf die Entwicklung der Börsenkurse kapitalerhöhender Gesellschaften. In dem theoretischen Teil werden Erklärungsansätze für die Signalwirkung von Kapitalveränderungen, insbesondere der Effekt bei der Ausgabe neuer Aktien sowie die für den deutschen Markt bedeutsame Ausschüttungswirkung von Emissionen diskutiert. Einer kurzen Darstellung des Untersuchungsaufbaus folgt die sich in zwei Teile gliedernde empirische Studie. Zunächst wird der Einfluß einzelner Marktphasen an der Börse und der Bewertung der Aktien auf den Umfang der Emissionstätigkeit der Unternehmen untersucht, daran anschließend folgen Tests auf die Signalwirkung dieser Maßnahme. Signifikante Kursreaktionen wurden bei Ankündigung sowie bei der Plazierung der neuen Aktien beobachtet. Anhand unterschiedlicher Zeitfenster um die Ereignistage werden tägliche Bewegungen um diese Tage, kurz- und längerfristige Entwicklungen der Aktienkurse analysiert, wobei im Ergebnis die Emissionen über einen Zeitraum von zwei Jahren um die Maßnahme keine signifikante Wirkung auf die Aktienkurse haben. Die auf die vorgestellten Modellansätze bezugnehmende inhaltliche Interpretation der Untersuchungsergebnisse schließt die Arbeit ab.
