Arbeitsmarkt und Erwerbsquote im Freistaat Sachsen

Abstract

Die Studie zum Arbeitsmarkt und der Erwerbsquote im Freistaat Sachsen beinhaltet die Analyse des Arbeitsmarktes seit der Wende bis 1994 sowie die zukünftige Entwicklung auf dem Arbeitsmarkt. Zunächst wird das Angebot an Arbeitskräften untersucht. Dabei wurde eine Überalterung der Bevölkerung, ein Rückgang der Erwerbspersonen und Erwerbstätigen und eine starke Zunahme der Arbeitslosigkeit festgestellt. Bei der Nachfrage nach Arbeitskräften ist ein starker Einbruch zu vermerken. Weibliche Arbeitkräfte und Arbeitkräfte über dem 55. Lebensjahr leiden besonders unter dem Rückgang der Arbeitsnachfrage. In ganz Sachsen ist besonders im Bereich der Arbeiter ein hoher Rückgang zu verzeichnen. Bei Angestellten und Beamten ist erst nach deutlicher Beschäftigungssteigerung eine Reduzierung eingetreten. Die entstandene Beschäftigungslücke induziert eine Arbeitlosenquote von 15,6 % Ende 1993. Bei den weiblichen Arbeitskräften war die Quote sogar bei 21,9 %. Das Erwerbspersonenpotential wird bis ins Jahr 2000 deutlich abnehmen. Aber auch die Arbeitskräftenachfrage wird sich reduzieren, so daß im günstigen Fall die Arbeitslosenquote 1997 auf 20 % ansteigen wird. Um diesem zu begegnen sind weitere Bemühungen in Ausbildung und AB-Maßnahmen nötig.
