Prognosevergleich der ZEW-Konjunkturerwartungen und der ifo-Geschäftserwartungen: Eine Aktualisierung

Abstract

In der vorliegenden Arbeit soll untersucht werden, ob Frühindikatoren ihrem Anspruch, die zukünftige wirtschaftliche Entwicklung zu signalisieren, gerecht werden. Eine ökonometrische Analyse zeigt, dass Prognosen auf Basis der ZEW-Konjunkturerwartungen oder der ifo-Geschäftserwartungen besser sind als Prognosen, die nicht indikatorbasiert sind.
