Kernstädte haben die Gründungsschwäche der vergangenen Jahre am besten überstanden

Abstract

Im Jahr 2003 ist die Anzahl der Unternehmensgründungen in Deutschland - möglicherweise forciert durch arbeitsmarktpolitische Maßnahmen - erstmals wieder angestiegen, nachdem sie in den Jahren 1999 bis 2002 um mehr als 13 Prozent eingebrochen war. Die Gründungsschwäche bis zum Jahr 2002 war nicht in allen Regionen gleich ausgeprägt: In Kernstädten war der Rückgang des Gründungsaufkommens mit durchschnittlich zehn bis elf Prozent weniger stark als in anderen Regionen. Dies ergibt eine aktuelle Sonderauswertung des ZEW-Gründungspanels.
