Datensonate in drei Sätzen. Von Faszination, Versuchung und Nutzung von Daten

Abstract

Der Beitrag behandelt die Bedeutung von Daten in einer zunehmend digitalisierten Welt in der ungewöhnlichen Form einer Sonate in drei Sätzen, entlehnt aus der klassischen Musik. Während der erste Satz - das Allegro fascinoso - beschreibt, welche Faszination Daten und die Möglichkeiten, die sie bieten, heutzutage auf Menschen und Gesellschaften ausüben, untersucht der zweite Satz - das Andante meditativo - vier verschiedene Variationen, zu welchen Versuchungen diese Datenfaszination führen kann. Der dritte Satz - das Allegro risoluto - schließlich zeigt verschiedene Nutzungsmöglichkeiten von Daten in modernen Gesellschaften auf, beispielsweise auch als Instrument der Politikberatung.
