Experimentelle Daten zu Hypothekenverträgen im Kontext der amtlichen Statistik

Abstract

Das Statistische Bundesamt veröffentlicht seit 2020 in der Rubrik EXSTAT - Experimentelle Statistiken neue, innovative Projektergebnisse auf der Grundlage neuer Datenquellen und Methoden und nutzt dafür zum Teil externe Quellen. Eine dieser Quellen ist der Informationsdienstleister SCHUFA Holding AG, welcher unter anderem einen Indikator mit der Anzahl neu abgeschlossener Hypothekenverträge zur Verfü- gung stellt. Dieser wöchentliche Indikator ermöglicht Einblicke in die Entwicklung des Wohnimmobilienmarkts. Vergleichsanalysen mit amtlichen Statistiken aus diesem Bereich zeigen positive Zusammenhänge. Daher könnte dieser experimentelle Indikator künftig - insbesondere am aktuellen Rand - als Ergänzung zu den bereits vorhandenen amtlichen Statistiken dienen
