Abstract

Der Beitrag erläutert die rechtlichen Grundlagen und die Grundzüge des Modells für den Zensus 2022. Er fokussiert auf die Änderungen gegenüber dem letzten Zensus: Erhebungsmerkmale, die Ermittlung der Einwohnerzahlen in kleinen Gemeinden, den Referenzdatenbestand, die Mehrfachfallprüfung, Online First und das angewendete Geheimhaltungsverfahren. Besonderes Augenmerk liegt auf dem Stand der Arbeiten im Herbst 2022, ein halbes Jahr nach dem Zählungsstichtag 15. Mai 2022.
