Fortschritte der Large Cases Unit

Abstract

Globale Wertschöpfungsketten und zunehmende grenzüberschreitende Geschäftsaktivitäten von multinationalen Unternehmensgruppen führen zu steigenden Herausforderungen für die amtliche Statistik. Mit dieser Thematik befasst sich die Large Cases Unit (LCU) der Statistischen Ämter des Bundes und der Länder. Der Beitrag stellt ausgewählte Arbeiten der LCU vor. Er behandelt schwerpunktmäßig die LCUFallbearbeitung anhand des Beispiels einer fiktiven multinationalen Unternehmensgruppe einschließlich der potenziellen Auswirkungen von festgestellten Inkohärenzen auf die Volkswirtschaftlichen Gesamtrechnungen und zugrunde liegende Wirtschaftsstatistiken.
