Optimierte Stichprobenplanung für die Konjunkturstatistiken

Abstract

Grundlage für die Erstellung amtlicher Statistiken sind häufig Daten aus Stichprobenerhebungen. Um eine ausreichende Ergebnisqualität bei gleichzeitig möglichst geringer Belastung der Auskunftspflichtigen sicherzustellen, ist dabei die Stichprobenplanung von zentraler Bedeutung. Während bei Strukturstatistiken Größen wie der Gesamtumsatz oder die Beschäftigtenzahlen von Interesse sind, liegt der Fokus bei Konjunkturerhebungen auf der ökonomischen Entwicklung im Zeitverlauf. Der Beitrag beleuchtet, wie bereits bei der Stichprobenplanung die Ziele der Konjunkturerhebungen berücksichtigt werden können. Dafür werden mögliche Modifikationen der für Strukturstatistiken genutzten Methoden vorgestellt.
