Generalprobe für den Zensus 2022: Erkenntnisse aus der Pilotstudie zur Haushaltebefragung

Abstract

Im Zuge des Zensus 2022 werden grundlegende Daten über die Bevölkerung und die Wohnungssituation in Deutschland erhoben. Die Haushaltebefragung auf Stichprobenbasis ist Teil des Zensus 2022, sie wird mit vergleichbarer Methodik wie beim Zensus 2011 durchgeführt. Um das Erhebungsverfahren und die Erhebungsinstrumente zu erproben, wurde im Zeitraum von November 2019 bis März 2020 eine Pilotstudie unter möglichst realistischen Bedingungen durchgeführt. Der Aufsatz beschreibt die methodischen Hintergründe sowie den Aufbau und das methodische Vorgehen bei der Pilotstudie. Er legt ausgewählte Erkenntnisse dar und gibt Empfehlungen mit Blick auf die Haupterhebung.
