Das Umsatzsteuerpanel: Analysepotenzial am Beispiel der Krisenjahre 2009 bis 2012

Abstract

Der Aufsatz beschreibt das Umsatzsteuerpanel, zeigt Analysemöglichkeiten auf und diskutiert Schwächen des Datensatzes. Zudem erfolgt als Beispiel eine Analyse der Entwicklung der Unternehmensumsätze in den Jahren nach der Finanzkrise 2008/2009. In deskriptiven Statistiken wird dabei untersucht, ob bestimmte Merkmale von Unternehmen mit Unterschieden bei der Entwicklung des Umsatzes einhergehen. Diese betrachteten Merkmale sind der Exportanteil am Umsatz, der Wirtschaftszweig, die Größe und das Alter der Unternehmen. Der Exportanteil und das Alter, die nicht direkt im Umsatzsteuerpanel enthalten sind, werden als Näherungen hergeleitet.
