Die Neuregelung des Mikrozensus ab 2020

Abstract

Der Mikrozensus ist die größte amtliche Haushaltsstatistik in Deutschland, er liefert jährlich wichtige Informationen für Politik, Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft. Daneben erheben die statistischen Ämter regelmäßig weitere Haushaltsstatistiken, wie die bereits in den Mikrozensus integrierte Arbeitskräfteerhebung der Europäischen Union, die europaweite Statistik über Einkommen und Lebensbedingungen (SILC) oder die Befragung zu Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien (IKT). Aufgrund steigender Anforderungen beispielsweise im Bereich der Arbeitsmarkt- und Armutsberichterstattung wurde das System der Haushaltsstatistiken in Deutschland neu konzipiert. Das neue Mikrozensusgesetz integriert die bisher separat durchgeführten Erhebungen zu SILC und IKT in den Mikrozensus. Zugleich ermöglicht die Neuregelung eine innovative Erhebungsorganisation und erweiterte Analysen.
