Abstract

Die zunehmende Kommerzialisierung des Sports lenkt die Aufmerksamkeit darauf, wie effizient Sportvereine mit ihren Ressourcen umgehen. Im Mannschaftssport gibt es verschiedene Organisationsformen der Ligen: das europäische Relegationssystem und das amerikanische Franchisesystem. Welches der Systeme ist aus sportökonomischen und ordnungspolitischen Gesichtspunkten überlegen?
