Abstract

Nach dem gescheiterten Versuch einer Fusion Berlins und Brandenburgs richten sich die politischen Bemühungen eher weniger auf eine Neugliederung der Länder. Aus ökonomischer Sicht sprechen jedoch viele Gründe für einen neuen Zuschnitt der Ländergrenzen. Wie sind die Chancen für eine Neugliederung aus polit-ökonomischer Sicht einzuschätzen?
