Langsame Erholung des Welthandels

Abstract

Der Welthandel befindet sich in einer ausgeprägten Schwächephase. Nachdem er sich 1997 im Jahresdurchschnitt noch um reichlich 10% erhöht hatte, nahm er im vergangenen Jahr nur um annähernd 4% zu. Doch selbst dieser Zuwachs war vor allem durch den hohen Ausgangsstand zu Jahresbeginn bedingt; im Laufe des vergangenen Jahres hat er annähernd stagniert. In diesem Jahr dürfte sich aber wieder eine Erholung durchsetzen.
