Abstract

Der Beitrag beschreibt die Perspektiven und Forschungsbereiche des Instituts. Es werden folgende Aspekte betrachtet: Vergleich des Stellenwerts von Leasing in der Praxis und in der Forschung; institutionenökonomische Betrachtung von Leasing; optimale Gestaltung von Leasingverträgen; Begriff des wirtschaftlichen Eigentums und Bilanzierung von Leasingobjekten; Risk-Reward-Ansatz versus Asset-Liability-Ansatz; Risikomanagement in Leasinggesellschaften; Basel II: Auswirkungen auf die Leasing-Branche; neue Formen der Refinanzierung von Leasinggesellschaften.
